Parivartan stands as an integrated rural community development initiative, championed by the Takshila Educational Society (@takshila.india).

Arthshila X Khoj Artist Residency Open Call 2023: An Opportunity for Talented Artists

This open call seeks exceptionally talented artists specializing in Ceramics, Textile, Sculpture, and Printmaking. It’s an invitation to creative practitioners who have honed their artistic voices and are eager to share their narratives with the world.

Application Details

• Deadline: The application deadline is set for Sunday, 15th October 2023.
• Residency Dates: The residency will take place from 18th February to 23rd March 2024.

Eligibility

• This opportunity is exclusively open to Indian nationals.
• Artists at an early to mid-career stage with a substantive studio practice are encouraged to apply.
• Self-taught artists with a minimum of 3 years of experience are also eligible to apply.

Application Requirements for Artists-in-Residence

To be considered for this prestigious residency, applicants are required to provide the following:

• An updated Resume / CV showcasing their artistic journey.
• Up to 10 images of their previous works along with a short concept note or explanatory text to accompany each image (preferably in a small-sized .pdf format).
• Video submissions should be shared as links only (with viewing permission).
• Contact details of 2 referees who may be senior artists or other creative practitioners closely familiar with the applicant’s work.
• A brief statement outlining how this opportunity will positively impact and contribute to their artistic practice.
