On the occasion of their 10th anniversary, Samara Art Gallery is all geared up to unveil their newest attraction, “Art Decade”. The event is proof of the artistic excellence and a creative collaborative effort of the featured artists. The event will be held at Samara Art Gallery. Located in the heart of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the gallery promotes both emerging and established artists – local, national and international – creating a platform where people are constantly exposed to new creations and artistic talents in an environment enticing visitors to linger.
The event will be officially inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Rajeev Sethi and Meha Patel with Sonal Ambani (owner of Samara Art Gallery) by their side. While the artwork is undoubtedly the main attraction, the exhibition will also feature a captivating conversation with Rajeev Sethi; a guiding light in the world of art and culture. Rajeev Sethi (born 24 May 1949) is a noted Indian designer, scenographer and art curator. Sonal Ambani is a noted sculptor who employs distinct stylistic elements to bridge the gap between nature & urbanization, manufacturing a self-functioning ecosystem in the process.
The gates would be open to the public on 25th October 2023, Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 8 PM. The opening event will entail an introduction to Samara Art Gallery and the artists who have contributed artwork to the exhibit. The exhibit will also showcase artworks by various artists which show the artist’s self-expression. These pieces will be on sale from 25th October 2023 to 25th January 2024. The curated range includes art pieces in various mediums such as acrylic, wood, mixed media and stainless steel.
