The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) has created a vast array of opportunities for us to play around with, as well as experiment and explore. People are now investigating the numerous tools and applications that AI technology offers to participate in exciting and creative endeavours due to its fast development. People are embracing AI as a playground for their ideas, pushing the frontiers of what is possible and discovering new amusement and delight. This includes creating art and music, making chatbots, and playing interactive games.

Our very own Master Chef connoisseur Vikas Khanna recently ventured into the realm of AI-generated art himself. In a playful and light-hearted gesture, he shared on Twitter an AI-generated image depicting the renowned painting ‘Mona Lisa’ by Leonardo Di Caprio, with a humorous twist of the iconic masterpiece enjoying Indian cuisine.

Captioned “Ok, I did this with AI. Mona Lisa enjoying Indian Food,” his followers received the image well. Within four days of posting, it has already garnered about 16,000 views, with quite several fans commenting.

However, Khanna’s playful exploration of AI did not conclude there. After three days, Khanna shared yet another AI-generated image, this time portraying Mona Lisa indulging in the traditional Indian dish called “Doli Ki Roti.”

The picture was tweeted with the caption: “Finally Mona Lisa is eating a “Doli Ki Roti”. Thanks to AI. This is a traditional bread from Multan (where my Ma’s family is from). Every summer, my Nani would make this almost like a BIG feast. Fermented whole-wheat dough stuffed with spiced lentils & fried to perfection. One of my favourites.”

A user commented, “Waise, she looks much happier after Indian food.”

It is truly captivating to witness individuals and celebrities alike embracing the joyous possibilities AI tools offer. Through their playful interactions with AI-generated art and other applications, people are demonstrating how AI can be harnessed for severe tasks, pure enjoyment, and creative expression. As AI advances, its potential for transforming various aspects of our lives is boundless, promising exciting opportunities for innovation, entertainment, and exploration.

We can only be excited to see what’s on the menu for Mona Lisa in Khanna’s future tweets.
