Steps to Make a Pen Pencil Holder Stand

1. Clean the Container:

Make sure the glass jar or tin can you’re using is clean and clear of any leftover labels or residue. If necessary, remove any sharp edges.

2. Paint the Container (Optional):

You can paint the container to give your pencil holder some colour. Please give it time to dry completely before proceeding to the next section.

3. Cut the Decorative Material:

Cut the ornamental paper or cloth to the appropriate size based on the height and circumference of the container. To fold over the sides, leave a little extra at the top and bottom.

4. Apply Glue or Mod Podge:

Apply Mod Podge or glue on the container’s exterior using a brush. To prevent the adhesive from drying out before you connect the material, work in small areas.

5. Attach the Decorative Material:

Gently round the container with the ornamental material, smoothing out any creases or bubbles as you go. To make sure the material sticks well, press it firmly.

6. Fold Over Edges:

Fold any extra material over the edges of the container and glue it in place if there is any at the top and bottom. This will produce a tidy end.
