Sakshi Art Gallery was founded in 1986 by Geeta Mehra. It has spaces in Bengaluru and Mumbai too. In 1992, it moved to Colaba, Mumbai. In 2009, they opened a new location in Taipei, Taiwan.
Notable Indian artists represented by Sakshi Art gallery include Rekha Rodwittiya, Surendran Nair, Jehangir Sabavala, Manjit Bawa, and Manjunath Kamath, among others.
Sakshi Art Gallery Mumbai provides a variety of services, such as a section dedicated to art advice, a library of art loans for corporate entities, and scholarship support for students and emerging artists.
