Bridget Riley's "Cool Edge" from the British Airways Collection, completed in 1982, showcases her groundbreaking exploration of color and optical illusions. The piece, auctioned at £1,875,000, showcases her skill in Op art and geometric accuracy.

Sir Terence Ernest Manitou Frost, a renowned British abstract artist, established a new art style in England. After World War II, he began his career in his 30s and was knighted in 1998. His piece, "Colour Down the Slide," was auctioned.

Interestingly, he uses found photos but stays away from photorealism, viewing them as paintings “by proxy.” In addition, Doig founded the monthly StudioFilmClub in 2003, where he chooses movies and creates posters. His “Grasshopper Portfolio” piece of art was put up for auction at Sotheby’s.

Marc Quinn, a renowned British visual artist, specializes in painting, sculpture, and installations, exploring identity, environment, media, and genetics. He became a key figure in the Young British Artists movement.
