In this curatorial project for Abir Pothi, Veer Munshi has selected art works that he believes sizzles with new ideas, interesting execution, and thoughtful concepts. He emphasises on the language an artist uses to deliver his ideas because \”ëventually an art work stands independently, on its own\”. He looks at integrity and the ability to translate complex thought processes into something tangible which impacts the viewer both emotionally and intellectually.

Veer Munshi\’s curatorial practice is an extension of his artistic journey. While some may not agree with him, he has this to say: \”A good artist, in all likelihood, would make a better curator.\” Seeing his acclaimed Dargah project at Kochi Muziris Biennale and the engaging Concourse show in Kashmir, you can safely bet that there is more than a grain of truth in Veer Munshi\’s views.

Do check out his curatorial project and tell us what you loved and what else you would want as the audience and also as artists, to see in future. We would be happy to share your views with our entire team and, of course, with Veer Munshi.
