About the Initiative
The CRACK International Art Camp (CIAC) promotes emerging artists worldwide by providing a non-corporate, international environment for creation. It encourages the sharing of original ideas, free thought, and intercultural cooperation. Through cross-border fusion of art and culture, CIAC promotes environmentally sustainable behaviour. It offers a stimulating setting for artists to unwind, exchange ideas, and experience rural Bengali culture, placing a stronger emphasis on relaxation than hard brainstorming.
Eligibility
- Individuals of all ages are welcome to fill the application form, however, the preference would be given to young artists
- Artists across all genres can join the camp, be it poets, writers, journalists, singers or musicians, filmmakers or so on.
- No barriers to nationality
Application Process
- Cost: The registration process for CIAC is free of cost
- Documentation: The applicants need to email the following documents- Portfolio, A brief Biography, CV, a short paragraph on ‘The reasons I find CRACK INTERNATIONAL ART CAMP, KUSHTIA interesting’, Copy of their passport (for individuals who are not a Bangladeshi resident only), 2 letters of recommendation.

About CRACK Trust
The non-profit arts trust CRACK Trust was established in 2007 as the result of the vision of the artists Shawon Akand and Delowar Hossain. It brings together many creative minds who concur that art and culture are intertwined.
