1. Dinesh Mehta
Dinesh Mehta studied architecture at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He resides in Mumbai, working as a documentary filmmaker, freelance architect, and photographer. He also designs exhibitions. Dinesh Mehta is a visiting faculty in numerous architectural schools. Dinesh Mehta is well-known for documenting Indian traditional and contemporary architecture.
2. Maulik Patel & Vidhi Patel
Maulik Patel and Vidhi Patel are the duo behind the visionary ‘Inclined Studio,’ an Ahmedabad-based centre for architectural photography. Inclined Studio, started in 2015, and having completed over 1200 projects is renowned for architectural, interior, and landscape photography.
3. Prasanth Mohan
Prasanth Mohan is an architect turned photographer, and the poster child of his firm ‘Running Studios,’ India’s first architectural photography studio. His firm offers residential, commercial, and heritage documentation photography. Prasanth Mohan’s photography has made rounds in architecture magazines, publishing houses, and advertising agencies.
4. Shamanth Patil J
Design photographer Shamanth Patil J resides in Bangalore. He has covered multiple subjects, including people, products, architecture, and interior design. Shamanth Patil J’s photography details the dynamic relationship between spaces, scale, lighting, craftsmanship, and human occupants.
5. Ricken Desai
Ricken Desai is committed to preserving complex patterns and architectural details in all of its glorious beauty. He is known for his inventiveness and receptivity to novel concepts which has produced creative answers, regardless of settings. Ricken Desai also specializes in landscape, commercial, residential, and hospitality photography.
6. Ishita Sitwala
Ishita Sitwala is the visionary behind The Fishy Project. Her speciality is architectural and spatial photography, where she captures the spirit of interior spaces and built environments. Her work has graced numerous prestigious publications, such as Archdaily, Yellowtrace, Domus Web, Dezeen, Architecture Digest, Elle Decor, Beautiful Homes, and Better Interiors.
7. Deepshikha Jain
Mumbai-based architectural photographer Deepshikha Jain has worked with several magazines, including Architectural Digest, GQ, and Vogue. Throughout her 12-year+ career, she has captured the form, beauty, and essence of magnificent architectural designs via natural light.
8. Sebastian Zachariah & Ira Gosalia
Sebastian Zachariah and Ira Gosalia are famed for their interior and architectural design photography studio, ‘Photographix.’ They specialise in the architectural, interior design, and related design fields with photography, videography, styling, and digital media expertise.
9. Edmund Sumner
Edmund Sumner is a well-known architectural photographer from London who has worked with leading architects, publishers, editors, and curators since 1998. His clientele includes architects, interior designers, design firms, developers, contractors, and engineers.
10. Niveditaa Gupta
Niveditaa Gupta’s photography is distinguished by its attention to detail and texture, which often capture intricate architectural features and craftsmanship. Based in New Delhi, Niveditaa Gupta’s goal is to produce images that elicit dialogue about architecture. She has worked with M: OFA Studio, SRDA, MOAD, RENESA Architects, Kamat and Rozario, and others.
11. Fabien Charuau
French photographer Fabien Charuau resides in Mumbai and specializes in interior and architectural photography. He also works with digital and generative art. Fabien Charuau’s extensive clientele includes architects, interior designers, hotels, and real estate developers in South and Southeast Asia.
12. Atik Bheda
With more than ten years of experience, Atik Bheda has experimented with various photographic genres before discovering his passion for architectural photography. His work has been featured in various design magazines, including Divisare, Architectural Digest, ArchDaily, and IA&B.
