KIAN Foundation is thrilled to announce its latest art exhibition, bhūmi, featuring the works of celebrated artist Shampa Sircar Das.

Presented by KIAN Foundation’s Aarti Naik, the event goes live on the 25th of January 2025, with an opening ceremony at the Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai and stays on till 31st of January 2025 with Panel Talks and Artist Talks, followed by Art Workshop by Shampa Sircar Das.

As per the Artist, the show is a reflection on the interplay of life. “When this balance is disturbed the consequences are dire for all forms of life. Bhumi, as the divine embodiment of the Earth, symbolizes the sacredness of nature and the imperative for humans to live in harmony with the environment. Her representation as a nurturing, life-giving force reminds us of the Earth’s generosity, but also of the consequences when her resources are depleted or mistreated.”
