Bangalore-based artist Abhijeet Deb Nath conducts a provocative study of the interplay between materiality and abstract concepts. His work explores the complex relationship between social space and identity, weaving a narrative deeply rooted in personal histories and memories Abhijeet deals with the complex idea that the space he grew up in did not entirely belong to his family. This conflict extends to issues of land ownership, ideological space, and the material world, all of which form the backdrop of his creative journey.
Abhijeet’s artistic language communicates his experience and identity through objects and space.
