Inaugural Exhibition of the Estate of Haku Shah at Subcontinent
As a defining first step, the newly opened Gallery, Subcontinent proudly represents The Estate of Haku Shah in Ya Ghat Bheetar / Rediscovering Form, at Mumbai's fort district. Curated by Jesal Thacker, this exhibition revisits Haku Shah’s seven-decade-long practice, highlighting his exploration of mati (earth), ghat (vessel), and shakti (feminine energy)—themes deeply embedded in South Asia’s cultural fabric.
