The state of Bihar, holding its cultural importance, is one of the oldest civilisations in India and was once an intersection of the most affluent and the most mixed ethnicities. Bihar is mentioned in Ramayana and Mahabharata in significance. Buddhism, one of the oldest religions in the world, has had an essential role in creating the wealthy culture of Bihar.
