Located close to the city of Udaipur on the western slope of the Aravalli Hills, Kumbhalgarh is a small town in the state of Rajasthan. The magnificent and majestic Kumbhalgarh Qila, one of the biggest forts in the nation, is what makes Kumbhalgarh is most famous for. The second-largest wall in the world is also located inside this magnificent fort. It is truly a spectacular place with breath-taking landscapes and is a well-known tourist attraction.

The Counselling of Indian Art and Culture, New Delhi, is set to host an international camp in the beautiful town of Kumbhalgarh. Senior artist Dr. Sushil Nimbark, who is also the Convenor of the camp, arrived in Durg on Monday and visited the site for further verification. He was also accompanied by Virendra Singh.

Nimbark has confirmed that the international camp will feature artists from more than 20 countries, some of which are Japan, Italy, England, Canada, Germany, America, Singapore, Australia, Spain, Netherlands and Korea. Apart from the many activities and artmaking during the camp, the artists, who come from different parts of the world, will also have the opportunity to simply walk around and take in the town’s natural beauty in addition to learning about the history of the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The camp will take place over the course of six days where the artists will create a variety of paintings, which will eventually be presented in the International Gallery. In addition to visiting the site for the camp, he also observed the Kumbhalgarh fort vantage point and the fort’s wall.

According to Nimbark, such an event near the site of Maharana Pratap’s birthplace which will host artists from all over the world is sure to boost several tourism activities in the future. Pratap Singh I, sometimes referred to as Maharana Pratap, was the Sisodia dynasty’s Rajput ruler of Mewar. Nimark hopes that the artists from different countries will also give their own feedback here which will positively aid in the developmental process for tourist attractions.

In addition to participating in painting activities, these visiting artists will also get the opportunity to learn about the local culture and take part in a variety of fun activities including trekking and touring around the beautiful location. Moreover, specially curated cuisines will be served to them so that they may experience the many flavours of India.

According to Kumbhalgarh Sub-Divisional Magistrate Jaipal Singh Rathore, artists from various nations would attend the camp and provide feedback. As a result, Kumbhalgarh is anticipated to experience an upsurge in numerous new tourism-related opportunities. This camp is truly a great opportunity for the participating artists to enjoy the stunning town of Kumbhalgarh as well as for the town itself, due to the potential of increased tourism activities.

This is definitely going to be an exciting event that will benefit everyone who is participating.
