The 16th edition of the India Art Fair begins on 6th February 2025. Being one of the biggest, contemporary art exhibitions in India, anticipations are nigh about the debutants this year. In India Art Fair 2025, Bengaluru-based KYNKYNY Art Gallery is taking its first ride across the IAF’s venue, under its Focus Section.
All About KYNKYNY Art Gallery
KYNKYNY Art Gallery, situated on Infantry Road; right at the centre of Bangalore, was established in 2004 by Namu Kini and Vivek Radhakrishnan. Their goal? Make contemporary art in India accessible, engaging, and inspiring for both collectors and art enthusiasts.
KYNKYNY Art Gallery Goes Beyond
It has been over 20 years since KYNKYNY Art Gallery’s founding. Since then, it has positioned itself as a reliable partner for collectors, on the lookout for manicured, high-quality art. Their personalised services ensure authenticity and originality. The services include art advisory, custom pieces, and quality purchases.
They’ve amassed a worldwide presence, which is only enhanced by online contemporary art exhibitions; a service they started in 2019. They showcased emerging contemporary artists at the Bangalore International Centre, attracting many prominent figures from the art community.
KYNKYNY Art Gallery’s Aim
KYNKYNY Art Gallery aims to induce dialogues on modern Indian art. This is evidenced by their numerous exhibitions, such as the 2023 retrospective on JMS Mani titled Badami and Beyond. They are currently exhibiting a group show, titled Her Story narrating the immense contribution and prowess of women in Indian art spaces.
They’ve got a gigantic roster of art styles and mediums, providing new viewpoints—from striking abstracts to detailed figurative pieces and sculptures; from lush landscapes, with ample flora and fauna to the gruelling cityscapes; mixed media to oil on canvas, and etching. Through these diverse pieces showcased in contemporary art exhibitions, they promote India’s vibrant artistic heritage and current state.
Since it began, KYNKYNY Art Gallery has collaborated with over 300 Indian artists, distributing their art worldwide, including Australia, Brazil, Dubai, and Lithuania.
