The first stall from Nalanda district proudly presents Bawan Buti saris, woven with exceptional finesse, exhibiting a captivating blend of artistry and elegance. Each sari tells a unique story, reflecting the skilled craftsmanship of the weavers.
Moving on, the second stall offers organic honey sourced from Vaishali. The stall owner, Sushila Kumari, highlights the rigorous quality testing process that ensures excellence in their honey, making it a delightful treat for the taste buds of G20 delegates.
Further along the row of stalls, the artistic products handcrafted by the women of Darbhanga captivate visitors with their intricate designs and cultural significance. The stall showcases the cultural vibrancy and artistic talent of the region.
Another stall proudly displays a collection of products made from Bhagalpuri Tussar silk, renowned for its luxurious texture and timeless appeal. The exquisite textiles exemplify the rich textile heritage of Bihar and showcase the mastery of traditional silk weaving techniques.
The stalls dedicated to traditional carpets from Kaimur and lac bangles from Muzaffarpur celebrate Bihar’s age-old craftsmanship. Visitors can marvel at the intricate designs of the carpets and the vibrant colors of the bangles, which reflect the region’s rich artistic traditions.
Additionally, the event highlights the culinary traditions of Bihar, with stalls offering bamboo items and a variety of pickles from Muzaffarpur. Rebecca Tudu, a bamboo product exhibitor, expresses her excitement about showcasing the potential and beauty of bamboo to delegates from around the world.
Several stalls focus on Bihar’s diverse artistic heritage, featuring Sikki craft, Tikuli art, Manjusha paintings, Sujani art, applique work, and Kheta embroidery. These intricate art forms highlight the skill and creativity of local artisans, offering visitors a chance to witness the timeless traditions of Bihar.
