“DSF and The Azadi Project Collaborate for Photo Exhibition ‘Rethinking Migration: Azadi to Co-exist’ in New Delhi”

The DSF (Danish Siddiqui Foundation) in collaboration with The Azadi Project is hosting a 2-day photo exhibition titled, “Rethinking Migration: Azadi to Co-exist”. The exhibition will take place 3rd and 4th of November 2023, at Triveni Kala Sangam in the National Capital, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The exhibition focuses on the themes of mass migration and its effects on the families involved. The event aims to advocate the rights of the forcibly displaced families and individuals. The event will feature various photojournalists and their works on mass migration. One of the highlights is the works of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Photojournalist, the late Danish Siddiqui.

The exhibition will also feature panel discussions and a screening of the movie “Mama: Norway’s Afghan Sons”. The film showcases the lives of 6 Afghani immigrants who seek asylum – which they find in the teacher Gro Dregelid. The movie was produced by the Thomas Foundation under the direction of journalist Preethi Nallu.
