‘Multiple Encounters’ is an initiative towards understanding the merits and importance of printmaking as a medium with the founding members, Vijay Kumar, K. R. Subbanna, Dattatraya Apte, Anandamoy Banerji, Kavita Nayar, Moti Zharotia and Sushanta Guha.
‘Divergent Practice: The Trajectory of Printmakers’, curated by Ina Puri and designed by Reha Sodhi showcases the recent works of the ‘printmakers’ group but also rare prints from DMG’s own archives of veteran artists such as J. Swaminathan, Somnath Hore, Anupam Sud, Zarina Hashmi, K. G. Subramanyan, among many others.
