The Frida Kahlo family has released artwork and memorabilia never seen before, into the Metaverse. The material made its debut in a running display at the third annual Metaverse Art Week in Decentraland, from August 24 to August 28. The works are showcased in a virtual representation of the family\’s residence named Red House, located in Mexico City. The archival materials have been created by a company named Ezel. The Cofounder of the business, Luke McFarlane, explained, \”The first 20 years will be represented in this house. It sets up a lot of her struggles and adversities, but also her drive and passion for life; between polio, coming of age and a major bus accident.” The use of metaverse technology and interactive activities offers the chance for a fresh connection with Frida Kahlo\’s work. The creators of Ezel claimed to have amassed approximately 800 distinct items, including sketches, original works of art, and objects utilised in Frida Kahlo\’s daily life.
