Indian 3D Artist SSR Krishna Invited to Renowned Street Art Festival in America

The Downtown Minneapolis Street Art Festival is a highly acclaimed event that graces the heart of Minneapolis, USA, every year. This unique festival captures the essence of street art in all its vibrant forms, inviting locals and tourists to indulge in a captivating downtown art extravaganza. With its distinct charm, the festival unfolds over the second weekend of August every year, offering an array of mesmerizing chalk and spray art displays, murals, incredible performances, exquisite crafts, delectable cuisine, and endless moments of enjoyment. This extraordinary celebration of art is entirely free, inviting everyone to partake in the artistic splendour that fills the city’s streets. This year, the festival will be held on the 12th and 13th of August.

India’s very own 3D artist, SSR Krishna, was invited to the festival as a participant, where he will compete against other artists from across the globe. Hailing from the picturesque town of Manthani in Telangana, Krishna is an assistant professor at JNTU College and a Master’s degree holder in 3D painting. With an invitation to display his work in Greece already in his bag, Krishna eagerly anticipates the upcoming opportunity to collaborate with talented artists from foreign lands at his next exhibition in the United States.

However, Krishna’s ascent to becoming a renowned 3D artist was far from effortless. His journey to establish his reputation and carve a successful career was a testament to his unwavering dedication. He triumphed in various esteemed competitions, garnering accolades and prizes that affirmed his exceptional talent. Notably, his work caught the attention of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who bestowed high praise upon him during the esteemed Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Krishna stressed the rising support from company owners, both small businesses and big corporations, who use this art form to advertise their services while highlighting the rising popularity of 3D art in India. He also proudly claimed that he was the first in India to write a book on 3D art, which is now being sold on several online shopping platforms.
