Orange Tree Startles at the Raw Collaborative 2024
The leading home-grown lifestyle brand, Orange Tree will unveil two new, dynamic and distinct furniture collections ‘Abacus’ and ‘David’ at the much-awaited Raw Collaborative 2024 edition from December 5th to 8th at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhi Nagar. The collections will be showcased at the A1 booth in the Timeless Zone, resonating with the section’s theme with their representation of ancestral craft with a new vision, and sculptured silhouettes in natural materials.
Orange Tree returns to the celebrated fair for the second consecutive year with an ensemble celebrating the convergence of art, tradition and historical richness. Their booth (no. A1) is designed to be a curatorial experience encapsulating its ‘timeless rooted’ philosophy and theme, wherein a uniquely crafted booth display brings forth the brand’s synergy with its visual identity.
What is ‘The David’ Collection All About?
An innovative take on the great Michelangelo’s works ‘The David’ collection is a meditation on form, that draws inspiration from subtle curves of the human body to sculptured marvels, where each creation is art rendering a time-defying presence. A dynamic landscape of solid wood with designs that break stereotypes, blending the abstract with nature and thoughtful details, simultaneously synchronising textured fabric furnishing and a dark glazed antique finish accentuates the veins of wood in this collection. A TV cabinet, side table, and dining table of the range flaunt their artfully minimal personality at the stall.
Orange Tree’s Mathematical ‘The Abacus’ Collection
An exploration of form, craft and materials, ‘The Abacus’ collection is a design derivative of the ancient mathematical tool. Handcrafted, handwoven and intelligently designed coffee table, television cabinet, bed, sideboard, pouffe and bedside table, where each is a discerning rendition of the lines and beads of an abacus. A harmonious dance of the yin and yang, soft lines and soft curves, light textures of Travertine marble and dark natural finishes of grained wood, the meticulous computations of woven Danish cord, mixing raw and refined, exudes sublimity of design.
Where Can You See Orange Tree’s Other Design Masterpieces?
Visitors to the stall will also view some star performers of Orange Tree’s other collections such as the discerning Andaman bookshelf, the charming Brio bench and the 3-seater sofa, the quintessential Yoho floor mirror, comforting Buda lounge chair among other captivating pieces. The design syntax of the brand articulates a contemporary vocabulary while reminiscing the past with its craftsmanship and minimal sentiments, a celebration of emotions that connect us all in these calmly uplifting collectables.
