Founded in 2008, Studio 4000 is an Ahmedabad-based architectural firm led by Khushboo Vyas and Smit Vyas. Known for their thoughtful design approach, the firm blends creativity with a deep understanding of India’s diverse contexts.

Studio 4000 believes architecture is more than just constructing buildings — it’s about creating spaces that respond to their surroundings. Their projects, whether residential, commercial, or healthcare, prioritize functionality while fostering warmth and connection. By embracing interpretation and dialogue, they craft designs that feel both practical and personal.

From large-scale infrastructure to intimate furniture designs, Studio 4000 values attention to detail and local craftsmanship. Their versatility has earned them several awards, including the Excellence in Retail Design (Wade Asia, 2019), Young Excellence Award (India Architect and Builder, 2018), and recognition for residential and healthcare designs in 2024. Their work has also been featured in national and international publications.

Khushboo Vyas, a CEPT University graduate, blends architectural expertise with artistic insight, drawing from her background as a printmaker. Smit Vyas, also a CEPT graduate, balances practice with academia as an Associate Professor (Adjunct) at the Faculty of Architecture. Together, they lead Studio 4000 with a commitment to designing spaces that are both meaningful and memorable.
