1. Chhota Bheem

Chhota Bheem is Pogo’s USP and is one of India’s most cherished cartoon characters. The characters have branched to an even bigger platform, creating a Chhota Bheem cinematic universe. Chhota Bheem is a young boy with superhuman strength and a heart of gold. He is aided on his quests by his friends Chutki, Raju, and Jaggu. He is frenemies with Kalia, and his sidekicks Bholu and Dholu.

2. Motu and Patlu

Motu and Patlu are a comedic duo known for their misadventures. As the name suggests, Motu and Patlu are obese and skinny respectively. Motu loves eating, especially samosas, only to be stopped by Patlu.

3. Little Krishna

Little Krishna is a TV show which details the life of ‘baal-krishna.’ The show captures the valourous and mischievous life of little Krishna. He along with his brother ‘balram’ defeat the demons with ease.

4. Shiva

Shiva is a kid who is often seen riding his bicycle. With his superhuman powers and flexibility, Shiva defeats villains with ease, forever protecting the fictional Indian city, Vedas.

5. Gattu and Battu

Gattu and Battu are a dynamic duo in the Indian cartoon world. Gattu, obsessed with carrots is known for his wit while his best friend Battu, is known for his strength. Together, Gattu and Battu have opened a security firm. They are aided in their quest to save Vishrampur from the evil Sher Singh by the eccentric martial artist Ting Tong and the tech wizard Dr Bhatawadekar.

6. Chacha Chaudhary

Pran Kumar Sharma created the lovable Chacha Chaudhary. He is a frail middle-class Indian elder with an exceptional IQ. Chacha Chaudhary is rarely seen without his pocket watch, wooden stick, waistcoat with two inside pockets, and a red turban. Other characters in the comic include his wife Bini Chachi, street dog Rocket, and extraterrestrial Sabu.

7. Roll No 21

Kris, from the animated series Roll No 21, is a modern-day reincarnation of Lord Krishna. He and his friend live in an orphanage run by modern-day Kansa; Professor Kanishk. Roll No 21 is a family-friendly and entertaining telling of Kris’ victory over the curveballs thrown at him by Kanishk.

8. Kumbh Karan

Kumbh Karan chronicles the adventures of twin brothers Kumbh and Karan, who reside in the tiny community of Ajab-Gajabpur. Kumbh is emotional and incredibly strong despite being overweight, lethargic, sleepy, and hungry. Karan is nimble, astute, and attractive. Travelling the world on different quests, Kumbh Karan are accompanied by their friend Tara and Kumbh’s pet porcupine Kaddu.

9. Pakdam Pakdai

Pakdam Pakdai revolves around Doggy Don, an anthropomorphic pink dog. He lives with three rowdy mice, ‘Chuha Party’ – Chhotu, Lambu, and Motu. Doggy Don is accompanied by his older brother, Colonel, who is resentful of the mice, and his neighbour, Ballu, a grumpy and belligerent Great Dane. Pakdam Pakdai is a great show detailing the fantasy lifestyle of animals.

10. Bandbudh Aur Budbak

Badrinath and Budhdeb, from Bandbudh aur Budbak, are two best friends, who forge exciting memories by getting into lots of trouble at school and coming out on top of it all with humour and camaraderie. Badrinath and Budhdeb hate studying and love to play Mega Robot.

11. The Jungle Book

Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’, the eponymous cartoon is our favourite. Mowgli is at the centre raised by Akela’s pack. Mowgli clashes with the cunning Shere Khan, Grizzle, and Tabaqui while navigating life alongside friends Baloo, Kaa, and Bagheera.

12. Suppandi

Tinkle Comics’ Suppandi is a simpleton known for comedy of errors. Suppandi is a devoted worker for his employers but frequently loses his job due to ignorance. Constantly attempting to fit in, Suppandi attempts to pick up new skills but always fails.

13. Shikari Shambu

Shikari Shambu is a wildlife and conservation expert with a secret fear of animals and adventure. He is a reluctant hero who always gets into trouble with wild animals and only succeeds by happenstance and good fortune. Through his luck, everyone, including his wife Shanti, believes Shikari Shambhu to be valiant.

14. Shaktimaan

Shaktimaan is India’s first superhero. Through meditation and the five elements of nature, he developed superhuman abilities. A mysterious order of saints trains Shaktimaan to battle against obstacles and societal evil. The twist – superhero Shaktimaan’s alter ego Gangadhar is a geek.

15. Bablu Dablu

Bablu Dablu is the Hindi dubbed version of the Chinese series Boonie Bears. Briar and Bramble, AKA Bablu Dablu are two bears from the series, work to prevent Logger Vick from destroying their forest home. There are also a few other minor characters, mostly animals, like two monkeys, a gopher, and an owl.
