Start your magnetic compass drawing by making a large circle. You can either freehand it or use a compass. This circle will be the outer boundary of your magnetic compass drawing.
STEP 2: Draw the Inner Circle
Next, draw a smaller circle inside the first one. This should be concentric This inner circle is the place where the compass needle rests.
STEP 3: Add the Compass Points
A compass drawing is futile without its directional points. To make your compass look more accurate, you’ll need to mark the cardinal directions (North, East, South, and West).
STEP 4: Add the Compass Needle
Now, it's time to add the compass needle, the magnum opus of your magnetic compass drawing. The needle points to the North and South directions, and it should be drawn carefully to maintain balance.
STEP 5: Add the Compass Rose
As decoration, add a compass rose around your compass. You may draw four additional lines in the spaces between the cardinal directions (NE, NW, SE, SW).
