Pragya Gurung is an Indian Air Force veteran from IIM Lucknow, morphing through the variegated contours of life with efforts and ease, knitting her rich experience with her artistic vision. Her works have been on display, one of the recent ones being in Hyderabad and at the Luna Grande Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey, and were highly appreciated for poignantly portraying human emotions and spiritual introspection. The latest series, greatly influenced by Japanese culture, comprises “Red Umbrella”, “Emerald”, “Glow”, “Rain”, and “My Sapphire”. Each of them tells a different story that represents the blends of human emotion with spiritual journeys of intricate watercolor techniques. These paintings by Gurung not only capture the evanescent essence of life but also inspire the viewer to start their own journey into self-discovery and meditation.
