A Closing Walkthrough of “Utopian Dystopia” at Tao Art Gallery With Artist Jayesh Sachdev

Renowned National Award-winning artist Jayesh Sachdev’s captivating solo exhibition, “Utopian Dystopia,” is drawing to a close, offering art enthusiasts a final chance to delve into the fascinating realms of his work. The event will culminate with an exclusive closing walkthrough and a meet-and-greet session with the artist himself.

Sachdev will delve into his creative process and the myriad inspirations that shaped his thought-provoking pieces. A distinctive feature of this exhibition is where Sachdev will guide attendees through the intriguing intersections of Augmented Reality and Art within his paintings.

This unique opportunity is to experience the convergence of reality and imagination in the whimsical world of “Utopian Dystopia.” This multi-dimensional encounter promises to be a memorable and thought-provoking exploration of contemporary art.

The walk-through will commence on November 1st, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It is open to all and will take place at Tao Art Gallery Mumbai.

About the Exhibition

“Everything you can imagine is real.”

In collaboration with the Galerie Geek Art, Tao Art Gallery presents ‘Utopian Dystopia’ by Sachdev. The exhibition showcases fantasy realities and parallel universes. As told by Sachdev to the Free Press Journal, the exhibition is “a visual narrative of the endless possibilities of the universe”. The artist displays that all possible realities have a tendency to co-exist. Sachdev intends to envision the future in order to shape the present.

The exhibition has been on display since October 6th, 2023, with the last show on November 3rd and a special walk-through with the artist on November 1st, 2023. 

About The Artist

Jayesh Sachdev is a multi-talented artist, designer, entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, and design educator. He’s the founder of the acclaimed Quirk Box label and the Quirk Box Design Studio. Jayesh holds India’s National Record for creating the largest conceptual artwork and maintains an international art presence. His numerous accolades include the British Council Young Arts Entrepreneurs India, Tiger Translate India Arts Awards, and Crow Bar Asia Advertising Awards. His wearable art brand, Quirk Box, received the Vogue India Fashion Fund Award and the Grazia India Young Fashion Award. His design agency has been named ‘India’s Best Design’ in multiple years. Jayesh’s art is known for its experimental, whimsical, and thought-provoking nature and has garnered attention in prominent media outlets. Notably, his art-based fashion label is popular among A-list celebrities, and he holds a degree in Visual Communication from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
